Tommy Lefroy announce new EP & share ‘Let Me’

Tommy Lefroy announces their latest body of work in the shape of new EP born blue, which is set for release on October 25 following the band’s headline tour of the UK and Europe. “The title of our third EP, born blue, comes from the chorus of the track ‘You Exist’. We’re born blue // got used to it // til you came to keep me alive. For us the phrase embodied a kinship we find in each other, and others who tend toward being blue, who see, when you look very closely at most things, there is sadness and beauty, each highlighting the intricacies of the other” added Tommy Lefroy about the meaning behind the EP title.

Recent releases from born blue include ‘Garden’ and ‘Girlhood, Godhood’, shining a spotlight on the creative range that Tommy Lefroy possess. They now share the latest track from the EP, ‘Let Me’, which will be once again released via LAB Records.

On the new single, Tommy Lefroy added “’Let Me’ is about finding release when closure isn’t an option. It’s a note to self, in frustration, for holding on to too much, for too long. But woven into that frustration is graciousness, in coming to terms with the reality that people closest to us can hurt us the most, and it’s possible to keep them close without holding that hurt against them.”
