NYC based Volena announces their debut self-titled EP and shares haunting new queer anthem ‘Summer of Roses’. Volena is out on April 4.

Maddie says, “‘Summer of Roses’ tells the story of a Pride weekend, with one relationship ending and another beginning in rapid succession. A happy beach day is overshadowed by wildfire smoke; impulsive desires threaten to destroy core friendships. This song is an exploration of anxiety and longing.”
