Wednesday’s Child are a London based five piece writing songs about dreams and desires, monsters and mermaids, serpents and sisters. ‘Ronnie’ is the third single from their upcoming EP Seven Sisters.
Here is a quote from the band on the new track: “When Ronnie Spector passed away last year the world lost a wonderous artist. Ronnie was the frontwoman of The Ronettes, a musical group with sisterhood at its core, and she lived her life with strength and joy.
“Our song is from the perspective of someone feeling lost in love and nostalgic for what could have been, then finding hope through Ronnie’s music. Songs have the magic ability of bending time so that work can live on and continue affecting people.”
