London-based DIY punk supergroup YAKKIE have revealed another cut from their forthcoming debut album Kill The Cop Inside Your Head. ‘Rabbit’s Got The Gun’, out now, is “an uncompromising rager about resistance recorded in one live take. It’s about planning a strategy and surprising your enemy when they least expect it,” says vocalist, activist and veteran DIY punk Janey Starling. The track simmers with righteous rage before boiling over with the power of protest and almighty riffage.

Kill The Cop Inside Your Head, set for release February 13, 2026, was recorded at the prestigious Middle Farm Studios in Devon with producer Peter Miles (Architects, Tesseract, Orla Gartland, Petrol Girls). The entire album was recorded on reel-to-reel tape in a mere four days – nothing digital was used in the recording process. Every track was recorded live in one take, with the result being a raw and real rollercoaster of powerful takedowns, motivational chants, soft emotive moments and feminist fury.
