Fresh from two sold-out outdoor shows supporting Echo & The Bunnymen, Glaswegian alternative indie-pop artist Zoe Graham shares new single ‘Push and Pull’, out today.
A shimmering west-coast Americana-influenced earworm, the track that offers a manifesto for letting go — and committing to that sense of freedom — over the woozy lilt of keys and strings, before building to a clutch of icy, wind-in-your-hair guitar solos.
“This is a song about going with your gut and not overthinking. It’s about choosing to let go, choosing to commit to that. Sometimes we find ourselves pushing for something, only to realise that life is pulling us to the right place anyway. Constant analysis of a situation can often get you nowhere, once you let go and succumb to the pull, that’s the exact moment life starts to get interesting.” says Zoe.
