Lucienne

Eora/Sydney-based singer-songwriter Lucienne blends classic soul influences with folk storytelling, alternative rock and cinematic pop to create a sound that feels both timeless and contemporary. Through her music, she explores deeply personal themes while drawing inspiration from spirituality, memory and transformation.

Following previous singles ‘The Same Death’ and ‘High Up in the Clouds’, latest release ‘Rebirth’ examines the lingering weight of the past and the process of letting go. Inspired by the sacred Sanskrit mantra “Om Mani Padme Hum”, the song explores the idea of finding purity and self-acceptance beneath layers of shame, offering a moving reflection on healing and renewal.

Meander

Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Meander creates heartfelt alt-pop infused with elements of folk, country and rock. Born to Chinese immigrant parents, her songwriting draws from lived experiences of identity, expectation and self-discovery, delivered through warm, intimate vocals.

‘Sunchaser’ is a dreamy folk-pop celebration of unconditional love and the people who bring light into our lives. Filled with sweeping melodies and sun-soaked choruses, the track serves as the lead single from Meander’s upcoming self-titled EP and offers an uplifting reminder of the connections that sustain us through life’s challenges.

Laizer

Originally from East London and now based in Seoul, independent artist, songwriter and producer Laizer combines reflective lyricism with atmospheric, experimental production. Her music often explores memory, identity and personal growth through a distinctly global perspective.

New single ‘Earthworm’ reflects on nostalgia, growing up and reconnecting with childhood dreams. First written as a demo in 2023 before being reimagined through collaborations spanning Mexico City and Seoul, the track evolved into a deeply personal exploration of memory and self-discovery, offering a glimpse into Laizer’s forthcoming debut EP.

Outi Karhu

Finnish-Scottish singer-songwriter Outi Karhu invites listeners into a world of thoughtful storytelling and gentle introspection on her debut album Let The Light In. Blending lyrical piano, rich harmonies and inventive arrangements, her music offers a welcome pause from the pace of modern life.

Album highlight ‘Let Them Come’ explores life through the eyes of an introvert, reflecting on the courage required to open yourself up to others. Built around piano, flute, violin and cello, the track gradually blossoms from uncertainty into wonder, creating a warm and uplifting listening experience.

Amalgamation

San Diego husband-and-wife indie rock duo Amalgamation return with ‘Dodge the Bullet’, a powerful new single inspired by a life-changing near-death experience. Blending alternative rock energy with emotional honesty, the song explores both the immediate shock and long-term impact of surviving trauma.

Driven by edgy guitars, synth textures and an urgent rhythm section, the track balances intensity with vulnerability as it moves through themes of anger, healing and forgiveness. Ultimately, ‘Dodge the Bullet’ chooses hope over retaliation, ending with a message of peace in the aftermath of hardship.

GOOD GRIEF

Seattle-based duo GOOD GRIEF transform personal loss into cathartic, emotionally charged indie rock. Formed after both members experienced the loss of their fathers, the band blend folk roots, 90s rock influences and sharp songwriting to explore grief in all its messy, complicated forms.

Latest single ‘Bait Shop’ examines how loss can reshape everything from friendships and family relationships to dating and self-perception. Inspired by a disappointing night out, the track channels frustration, resilience and self-reclamation into an empowering rock anthem that refuses to shy away from life’s complexities.

Kindliche Kaiserin

Berlin-based singer-songwriter Kindliche Kaiserin crafts enchanting music that feels like a modern fairy tale. Drawing from folk traditions, chanson influences and a love of storytelling, she creates intimate songs that often exist somewhere between fantasy and reality.

Her latest release, ‘Thalassophobia (The Mermaid Song)’, begins as a whimsical folk-pop tale before evolving into a powerful feminist anthem. Performed largely on autoharp, the track encourages listeners to confront their fears and embrace bravery, while imagining a future where courage and equality are simply the norm.

Katarina Kay

Independent artist Katarina Kay creates dark, feminine pop infused with R&B and trap influences. Exploring themes of desire, power and vulnerability, her music sits in the space where softness and strength collide.

New single ‘Ready Or Not’ examines the irresistible pull of a relationship that both parties know is flawed but cannot leave behind. Combining emotionally charged lyricism with moody production, the track captures the tension between knowing something is unhealthy and being unable to resist its magnetic attraction.

HADASSAH

Leeds-based queer artist HADASSAH delivers raw emotional honesty on ‘What Did I Do? (Freestyle)’, a piano-led alternative R&B and soul track written in the immediate aftermath of a breakup. Freestyled just two weeks after the relationship ended, the song captures heartbreak in its most vulnerable and unfiltered form.

Featuring airy production, layered harmonies and a personal vocal sample from her mother, the track explores confusion, trust and the lingering questions left behind when love ends unexpectedly. Rather than seeking revenge or closure, HADASSAH sits with the uncertainty, creating a deeply relatable portrait of heartbreak and self-reflection.

Dropstitch

Liverpool alternative metal outfit Dropstitch make a striking first impression with debut single ‘Limerence’. Entirely self-produced and independently released, the track introduces a band unafraid to confront uncomfortable emotions through a powerful blend of aggression and vulnerability.

Drawing inspiration from acts such as Alexisonfire and Spiritbox, ‘Limerence’ explores the obsessive thought patterns that can accompany unrequited attraction and imagined relationships. Combining crushing riffs, soaring melodies and dynamic vocal performances, the song captures a feeling many have experienced but few openly discuss.
