Couch Prints share new single ‘Alive’

New York City duo, Couch Prints are sharing their glistening new single, ‘Alive’, which comes as another serene installment of their brand of introspective dream-pop arriving as the latest to be lifted from their new six-track EP, Waterfall which is out for release on September 23.

Bolstered by cavernous production and a tactile instrumental approach, Waterfall – which was engineered, produced, and mixed by Jake Aron at Studio Windows and mastered by Joe LaPorta – makes equal space for recollective ballads and dextrous anthems with analog synths scaffolding singer, Jayanna Roberts’ intimate vocals.

When discussing the new single which simmers behind glacial guitars and synth, bassist Brandon Tong says: “‘Alive’ is an exploration of emptiness, the pain of living in your body without calling it a home. A pain exacerbated by our skewed perceptions of other people’s lives.”
