Farao, the musical alias of Norwegian producer Kari Jahnsen, shares new single ‘Waiting for You’, which is out now via marvaða (UK/EU) & Western Vinyl. Farao combines smooth 90s R&B with sensual 80s disco, ambient spiritual jazz, and layers of lush zithers to create her own sonic fantasy.

On the track, Farao said “I wrote ‘Waiting for You’ to dance with the shadow of someone I lost. The kick is my pacemaker, the synths are tears of joy in waveform, and a funky disco bass just makes life worth living.”
