Alt-rock outfit HAVVK will release their crashing new single ‘Pick Your Poison’, from their highly anticipated fourth album Time Will Kill, releasing June 19 via VETA Records.

‘Pick Your Poison’ arrives as the soaring final single ahead of Time Will Kill, self-described as ‘a reckoning’. An album that chronicles the personal pursuit to reclaim control, it’s a decisive shift in perspective from their third album, To Fall Asleep – a tumultuous rollercoaster ride of anxiety, paranoia, and the longing for reconnection. Time Will Kill emerges as a defiant, ground-shaking successor, sharpening HAVVK’s intensity like a storm gathering strength.

‘Pick Your Poison’ explores the divisiveness of current-day discourse; the button-click speed at which we are able to pick a side, while making less and less time to be informed – and the sense of isolation that can result. Matt Harris says: “It feels to me that a lot of social media is full of debate complex issues but doesn’t provide any kind of platform for measured or informative discussion. This song tries to sum up being in that environment and not knowing how to respond in that noise.”
