Oklahoma-born, Los Angeles-based songwriter Jonie makes a stunning solo debut with ‘Better At This’, the first taste of her forthcoming EP. Written about reaching the limits of what you feel capable of carrying while somehow continuing anyway, it turns a deeply vulnerable feeling into something remarkably warm.
Beautiful fingerpicked guitar immediately draws you in, but it’s the chord changes that really make ‘Better At This’ soar.
