LA rocker Kit Major is sharing her newest EP, Love.Sick.Major. Featuring her hit ‘I Wish U Didn’t Hate Me So Much’ and the infectiously fun lead single ‘Garbage Planet’, the EP blends post-punk energy, psychedelic guitar riffs, and playful self-references. With Love.Sick.Major, Kit Major reinvents classic rock with a fresh edge. Channeling the rebellious spirit of CBGB’s legendary scene, her sound calls to mind icons like Blondie and New York Dolls.
Alongside the release of the full EP, Kit is highlighting the fast, feral, and fuzzy punk track, ‘Potion Seller.’ Laced with a touch of rockabilly energy, ‘Potion Seller’ is a song about wanting to feel better in your own skin. With lyrics such as, “I want to stop my weeping wallow, I want to be the best,” and “And I tell you I’ll be careful, but I’m lying through my teeth,” the track explores feelings of hopelessness concealed by a defiant promise to do whatever it takes to get a quick fix. “It’s got this frantic, raw energy of someone constantly returning, desperate, saying, “Make me better!”,” Kit explains.
