Lana Del Rabies shares a third and final pre-release track ahead of the release of her forthcoming album, STREGA BEATA, set for release March 17 on 2XLP/CD/Digital through Gilgongo Records.

Sourcing inspiration from the trip-hop genre, the early, experimental days of post-punk, and the atmospheric noise collages of artists like Puce Mary, ‘Hallowed is the Earth’ is a track that grieves a wounded world deemed as a lost cause by its creator.

The accompanying video reflects the track’s chaotic descent into the reflections of a tormented goddess figure, lamenting what humanity has done to itself and the natural world. The image concepts came from Lana Del Rabies (Sam An) and artist Louise Saafi and were brought to life by director, cinematographer and editor M.Dean Bridges. With co-direction and art direction by Lana Del Rabies and additional shots provided by Saafi, fragmented images of the land, water, and different incarnations of this figure are composed into a cyclical experience of destruction and control.
