Capping off a trilogy of new singles released over the past month, mercury has debuted her latest single ‘The Fly’.

Following up the grungey ‘Swarm The Hive Mind’ and melancholic slow-burn ‘What You Want Me To Say,’ ‘The Fly’ showcases a gloomy post-rock side of the rising artist’s sonic arsenal.

“It’s abstractly about a lot of things,” says Maddie Kerr, the architect behind the Nashville-based indie project. “Winning, making mistakes, losing, obsessive love, overthinking love, and being hurt by it.”
