“I know so many women who stay in unhealthy and even abusive relationships for so long…” says Raegan. “For this song, I really wanted to lean into that shame – to make a mockery of it and claim power back from it. We are not the ones who should feel shameful for giving people chances, but it’s good to be able to acknowledge the ridiculousness of it.”
