Introducing Talking About Ray, a dynamic three-piece rock band hailing from the heart of Glasgow/Falkirk Scotland. Fronted by the distinctive vocals of Sarah Monteith-Skelton, the band’s sound is a captivating blend of rhythmic elegance, pulsating punchy bass lines from bassist Ronan Guy and powerhouse drumming by Reece Ryan providing the heartbeat to their sound.
Their new single ‘Three Fifteen’ is out today. “‘Three Fifteen’ is a song about reminiscing childhood friends who’ve taken different paths in life and carries a nostalgic, bittersweet tone, capturing memories of shared innocence growing up in a small town together,” say the band. “The lyrics describe some carefree moments like climbing on top of rooftop sheds, playing until dusk and then turning into young teenagers going to under 18s night clubs and dreaming about the future. There’s warmth in remembering those bonds, a sense of closeness built from growing up side-by-side, maybe even sharing secrets, and imagining we’d stay in each other’s lives forever. Life changes and things move on.”
