Today Tomato Flower shared their new single and video ‘Temple of the Mind.’ The song is the third single from the band’s upcoming debut album No out March 8 on Ramp Local.

‘Temple of the Mind’ transforms romantic anxiety into psychedelic self-exploration. Vocalist/guitarist Austyn Wohlers’ playfully taunting vocal delivery evokes the allusive, euphemistic eroticism of early 60s girl group pop. Lyrically, the song vacillates between fears of romantic loss and entrapment–contradictions echoed by the frenetically fluctuating synth line–while romance itself feels conspicuously absent.
