Weekend Recovery have announced their forthcoming third album Esoteric, due to release May 2023 on Criminal Records. Lead-off single ‘Chemtrails’ highlights the best of alt pop – bringing equal measures of Lori’s straight talk and contagious vocal riffs, driving beats and a hyper-fuzz wall of sound.

‘Chemtrails’ confronts the way news and social media brainwashes the masses, telling us there is a certain way of doing things and how people should fit a mould: “As a female in the music industry the number of times I have been told I should behave a certain way is too many to count… or my favourite ‘You’re good at guitar for a girl’…” says Lori.
