Irish indie pop newcomer ARLENE releases her new single ‘Longshot’ today.

‘Longshot’ features ARLENE’s raw edgy vocals which blend perfectly with the vibrancy of the electric guitar. Drawing influences from the pop punk culture with a Travis Barker-esque drum section, ‘Longshot’ still retains a somewhat indie-pop/rock vibe. The anticipation of the bridge section through the build-up of chaotic guitar lines creates a tension that can be experienced in an everyday mindset yet the panning of the breathing gives a psychedelic sensation. The track ends with an ‘acapella’ effect, giving listeners a real feel of the true passion of ARLENE’s voice.
