Beatrix and Sarah make up FLTY BRGR GRL – a quirky Oslo based duo that is all about making fun, moody and teenage heartsick garage pop. ‘Caprisun’ is their third and newest track from Happily Ever Never, their upcoming album, recorded with producer Marcus Anthony Calvert. It’s playful, fun and smooth like that hot surfer dude or girl you met last summer in Portugal.

The band say, “At first we almost found the song to be a bit sleazy, it made us blush. In Happily Ever Never we have songs that explore the different stages after a break up, ‘Caprisun’ explores what happens after the final stage, after acceptance, when you start noticing new people and finding out what these new connections can become. Or as we like to call this stage: The hoe period”.

‘Caprisun’ comes with an early 90s home video featuring adorable kittens. They continue: “Those who have been following us for a while know that all of our songs somehow end up being about love. That is why we wanted to do a video that was all about kittens, even though we’re both super allergic and couldn’t breathe at the end of the shoot. The thing is, or at least according to legend, Vikings used to gift kittens to new brides as an essential part of a new household. Cats were considered appropriate since they were associated with Freya, the goddess of love. So we had to include them. Also we love kittens, even though they might lead to our death one day”.
