Hinako Omori shares ’ember’, a new single and accompanying video taken from her forthcoming album stillness, softness…, which is set for release on October 27 through Houndstooth.

’ember’ is an enchanting, cinematic synth opus where Hinako’s delicate, honeyed vocals take the fore, imploring us to break free. Speaking on the track, she comments: “The idea behind ’ember’ is noticing that our attachment to the past can cloud our perception of situations, and the importance of breaking through these barriers we place on ourselves to build a healthier, compassionate relationship with ourselves and others.”
