Punk-folk singer Katie MF gears up for the release of her debut album, False Starts, Open Endings, with the unveiling of latest single, ‘Work Drinks’.

The song, following on from previous single ‘Japanese Whiskey,’ is delivered with the gusto of legendary protest songs of years gone by. Katie tackles themes surrounding the patriarchy, power dynamics and societal expectations related to female conformity. With a driving beat, rousing harmonies and scuzzy guitar, the track runs breathlessly for just over two and a half minutes.
