Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mae Mae has shared her new single ‘Peach,’ available to stream on all DSPs worldwide. The song is a playful indie-pop tale about missing your hometown, while simultaneously wanting to distance yourself.

“I wrote ‘Peach’ trying to sort through my feelings on growing up in the south,” says Mae Mae. “On one hand, I’ve always felt a sense of pride in my upbringing. There’s a charm about the people and communities that I realize now is hard to come by. On the other hand, there’s a lot about the south that I’d prefer to leave behind. I struggle with missing it, and simultaneously wanting to get as far away as possible from it.”
