Following her acclaimed debut, Scottish-born, London-based artist Neev returns with How Things Tie in Knots, out March 28. A record shaped by tension, contrast, and self-discovery, it delves into the struggle of embracing multiple identities and the complexities of human relationships.
Ahead of the album’s release and following recent single ‘Stubborn Heads’, Neev shares a beautiful lyric video for album track ‘I Put It In A Frame’ – a glistening rumination on the connection between female pain and art.
“‘I Put It In A Frame’ questions what it means to put vulnerability on display, especially as a female artist. It explores the cost of that exposure and the frustration of being confined by expectations. The raw energy in the production reflects this struggle,” says Neev.
