Her first release after signing with City Slang Records earlier this year, ‘Molly’ is an immediately captivating listen and is the first taste of her forthcoming record.

A sexy, swirling ode to a serotonin-pumping first date (inspired by a very real date she had with her now fiancée), ‘Molly’ is a playful yet powerful statement from an artist already breaking the indie pop mould.

“’Molly’ was inspired by one of the first dates I had with my fiancée,” Softee tells of the story behind the track. “We took molly and transformed the apartment I was staying in into a dance floor. We cleared the furniture, got speakers and a disco ball, and dressed to the nines. It was one of the best nights of my life and I had to write a song about it.”
