Ella Eyre has released her brand new single ‘Ain’t No Love That Blind’, which is available to stream now via Play It Again Sam. The single – which is produced by Detonate and features a full setup of live musicians – is the second to be released from the BRIT Award winning artist, who is making music as an independent artist for the very first time.
Ella premiered the brand new single from the BAFTA TV Awards in London live on BBC 1, in a performance that marks a brand new era for the lauded musician. ‘Ain’t No Love That Blind’ encompasses Ella’s bold iteration as an independent artist, as she explores a new soulful sound in the material, moving with humility and authenticity towards the music she was always meant to make.
Ella said, “’Ain’t no love that blind’ is the anthem I feel like I needed to hear in my teens when I was writing songs about a heartbreak I could never imagine getting over. It’s about a betrayal, one you weren’t expecting but also weren’t surprised by because after years of romantic (and unromantic) relationships, I learnt to protect my peace by being very careful who I put my faith in. This song just makes me feel so good and when that chorus hook hits there’s a real sense of empowerment and freedom in knowing my own strength now.”
