American singer-songwriter Maris Ward, aka MARIS has released a new song/video called ‘Crashland’ from her debut EP Gravity, out now. It was written by Maris Ward, Aaron Theodore Berton and Matthew Crawford. The accompanying music video was co-directed by Kaya Tone and Maris, who filmed in New York City.

MARIS said of the song, “’Crashland’ is one of my favorite songs lyrically…I had ‘I’m devoted to a statue,’ in my old notebook from the time I lived there. As soon as I realized the concept of my time in New York and an up-and-down relationship, the words started to pour out.”
