VENUS GRRRLS break into 2024 with lustful new single ‘Divine’

VENUS GRRRLS are poised to become the next big name in UK rock/alternative. Their unforgiving new single ‘Divine’ – recorded by Sugar House and mixed/mastered by Grammy-nominated Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me The Horizon, Nova Twins) – is out now.

Hailing from Leeds, VENUS GRRRLS present the dark yet empowering discourse surrounding their own synergistic experiences. Unlike the heavier subjects covered in their previous releases (Lidocaine, Liar Liar, Hex), ‘Divine’ is a journey of passion and desire. Heavy with grunge-inspired guitar tones and twinkly goth-rock synth motifs, the new track encapsulates the most relatable human experience of instant and apparent attraction with lustful lyrics against a sweeping soundscape. The new single arrives with a music video shot by their trusted collaborator Misha Warren.

Giving more insight into the track, lead singer GK says: “’Divine’ is the female gaze; the unsaid, but the known. It narrates the earlier stages of a relationship which is shrouded in mystery, making for an addictive and all consuming sentimentality.’”
