Arabella and The Heist lash out with their fierce new single ‘1769’

Fueled by rock and rage, Melbourne’s femme-punk outfit Arabella and The Heist pack a punch with their fierce and seductive energy. Clenching their fists and gritting their teeth, they’ve released their snarling new single ‘1769’,

Raw and uncompromising, ‘1769’ is a rager that is wall-to-wall thrashing hard-rock made up of fuzzed out guitars, dirty driving bass and a belting vocal performance from Arabella. With few moments to take a breath, this is a sweat-inducing, mosh pit starting track is for those brave and late night punters.

Produced by Michael Badger (Amyl and The Sniffers, Goldminds, King Gizz) the track embodies a feverish energy, described by Arabella as “a 2AM heartbeat”. The track gets its name from a brand of red wine and depicts a chaotically indulgent night out in the punk underworld. Arabella states: “We wanted to write a track that felt like a night out in Melbourne, and we wanted to build that energy and tension.”
